Origami Object

If you are able to see, this Captain America shield object is made up of many small different stars that are glued onto a round cut piece of card board. The mini stars were all hand made by me which took forever to do. After they were all glued on, it took me a couple of tries to spray paint the board just right to look like the shield.

Halloween Face Off

For a Halloween project, we were to choose someone that would allow us to paint on them with makeup and do our best to make them creepy looking. This is what I came up with for my victim.

1st Quarter Photography

These pictures can be looked at in certain different ways. The first one is looking at an ordinary object and making it look extraordinary. The second is just a simple machine. The third picture is a photo from a different perspective. Than it is of something gold, so obviously the sun. And the last photo is used with back lighting.

Light Photo

This project was very entertaining and quick. Our teachers proposition to us for this assignment was to get a partner and borrow one of the schools cameras. We would use this camera to take a snap shot of a moving image so that in the end it would turn out as one made image. To do this, we needed fake candles that would light up with a switch. And a darkened room to make the light look brighter. With the candles, you are to make some type of object by drawing it within the air just as you might do with a children's sparkler fire work. Here, I decided to write out the word love. But for words, it is a little bit more of a tricky process. You have to write the words backwards for it to come up the right way in the picture. This took me a couple of tries, but finally, with my partner using the camera, we got a good shot of the word spelled out.

"The creation of Adam in minion style"

This project was so far one of my favorites this year. Our jobs assigned to us, were to choose a certain cartoon and in some way apply them to a historical famous art piece. For mine, I decided to remake minions in a look similar to "The Creation of Adam" by the artist, Michelangelo. As you can see, it is a completely different outlook than the actual painting by Michelangelo. For instance; instead of the people in the clouds of the sky, I replaced them with minions floating off into space. To set a kind of humorous mood to the poster, I made it look as the minion to the left was completely carefree of the where the minion on the right was heading. As for the minion on the right, he is floating off into space and trying his best to get a hold of the other. To put together this piece, I first drew the minions. After that was over with, I traced the figures of minions onto a latex sticker that covered the minions as I worked on the back ground. For the space look, I had my fun with different paints and a crumpled up paper towel, and even at some times, my finger tips for the lasting splatter. It was definitely an eventful project.

3D Creation

For this 3D creation, the class were told of certain objects and shapes that were to be drawn and connected anywhere at on a piece of paper. Once this was fulfilled, you were to put together your drawing with pieces of paper and material that were lying around the classroom. Just a few crafty items. This hear is the 3D drawing that I have created and put together from the imaginative mind.
